The Eco Apartment clothesline is one of the models that is ideally suited for 60cm wide spacing.
This unit is 52cm wide by 150cm deep, so it's a very unique style of clothesline as the lines run 90 degrees out from the wall—very handy when you need a spacious clothesline but have limited space.
This is not the way the clotheslines normally run, so what this allows you to do is have very long line length in such a narrow wall spacing which works great for large articles like bedlinen and towels.
Another option for the 60cm wide clotheslines is the Eco 120 Clothesline. This model has a standard width of 120cm, but we can modify it down to just 60cm without any cost to you!
The really good thing about the Eco 120 is they have a number of different depth sizes if you need more drying capacity, so much options for different requirements.
This unit is designed and made in Australia, its full galvanised steel construction is meant to withstand our harsh climate and the powder coat finish keeps rust at bay to give you years of worry-free usage.
This unit does come in five different depth sizes, so depending on the distance out from the wall, we can make this clothesline to exactly the size that you need.
As mentioned, the Eco 120 has 5 different depth options for those of you that require more drying space:
The Eco Unit Line
The Eco Unit Line is another one that we can modify down to the 60cm wide for you.
This unit does have a standard width of 80cm as well but we can shrink down to 60cm wide so it won’t be a hassle to find a space for it.
It has a fixed depth of 75cm but has eight lines so this unit is a handy one that dries laundry really fast since there is adequate space between each article.
The best thing about fold-down clotheslines is when you don't need to use them, you simply fold them flat to the wall—out of the way.
Eco Clothesline Colour Range Advantage
With the Eco Clothesline's colour range, you have 6 standard COLORBOND® powder coat finishes to choose from, all of which are free of charge.
These pretty much cover the spectrum of the most popular colours that we see in clotheslines today in Australia.
The choices don’t stop there though, if you do need a colour outside of these 6, please let us know since we do have access to other COLORBOND® colours and we will be more than happy to expand your choices.
The Best Clothesline Brand to Get
Our recommendation for 60cm wide clotheslines is the Eco Clotheslines range.
They are handmade in Australia the old-fashioned way, so they're not mass-produced clotheslines, they're really built to last with full solid steel construction, no plastic primary load-bearing components at all.
GALVABOND® steel clotheslines from Eco are built to last.
The powder coated is baked onto the frame to keep moisture away from the steel underneath and this finish is designed to protect the metal from scratches and bumps as well.
60cm Clothesline Mounting Options
If you do not have a solid wall to mount a clothesline on, Eco has ground mount kits to further expand the possibilities of having the ultimate fold-down clothesline.
You have two options for these, the standard ground mount kit is suitable for in-ground installation like in typical soil/ground with or without concrete footings.
The plated ground mount kit is used to mount your clothesline on a flat concrete slab, with provisions for concrete fasteners to ensure a secure freestanding clothesline.
