In the images below, you can see that the Eco 270 boasts all steel construction.
This is a 100% Australian-made unit. It's really built to last.
The only plastic components on it are the cord itself and everything else is steel so it's really designed to last for a long time despite the extreme Australian conditions.
When you don't need the clothesline, you can simply fold it down flat and then when you're ready to go, again, just simply grab it at the middle, lift it up and the arms automatically lock into position on the sides.
Eco 270 Up Close:
With the Eco 270 range of fold down clotheslines, we have five pre-set depth options, depth being the distance out from the wall:
The further out from the wall means you're gonna get more line and more line space.
So at the end of the day, it just depends on the size of area you've got to work with and what depth is gonna be the best option for you.
With the Eco Clotheslines range, you can also add an optional lowline attachment.
This is a slightly lower section at the back of the clothesline that gives you three additional drying lines.
So it's a handy option to add if you're really looking to maximise your line spacing in that 250 centimetre wide area.
It attaches to the main frame and goes up and down with the clothesline when it's lowered and raised.
But if you don't need it on any given day, it simply unhooks from the main frame and folds flat to the wall.
Out of sight, out of mind!
Other Clotheslines Suitablefor 250cm Wide Spaces:
Eco Dual Frame
The Eco Dual Frame is another one around that 250cm.
This is slightly smaller at the 240cm wide but has a depth of 120cm.
There's another depth option that is 150cm to give you more drying space should you need it.
The variable capacity is a must-have for those with tight spaces in or out their home.
Austral Standard 28
The Austral Standard 28 is another unit at 249cm wide and a depth of 150cm.
This one has 12 lines and is available in three standard colours, the classic cream, woodland grey and surfmist.
This is another very popular Australian-made product and one that does come with a big guarantee as well, a 20-year guarantee.
Austral Slenderline 16
The Slenderline is another good clothesline with a width of 249cm by 61cm and is narrower than typical clotheslines which is a good choice for small homes and other areas of the house with narrow walls.
With six drying lines, it boasts a handy amount of line space and it also comes in the three colours from Austral which can definitely match any home's exterior.
Eco Clotheslines Colour Range
The colour range for the Eco Clotheslines is the biggest in the market.
At Lifestyle Clotheslines alone, we have 10 standard COLORBOND® colours.
Our selection of finishes are the most popular according to our customers although it is not just limited to those.
We may be able to help if you have other preference apart from the ones we have since we do have access to a range of other COLORBOND® colours.
They're designed in Australia, made in Australia, and really ones that we see lasting a long time in the harsh Australian conditions.
Also, the big range of colours available as standard is great, and that customisation is free of charge.
So with the Eco range, if you have a space of 245cm or 248cm or something like that, we can make the clothesline exactly to that size for you for free, so it's a perfect fit when it comes out of the factory.
Ground Mount Kits
If you don't have a wall suitable for mounting clotheslines, you have a couple of options in terms of having a 250cm wide clothesline converted into a freestanding one.
We have optional ground mount kits that will further boost the convenience of having a clothesline in your yard.
The two main type of ground mount kits are the standard ground mount kit and the plated ground mount kit.
The former is for anchoring the clothesline in grass/soil area with concrete footings and can easily be done by your or our clothesline professionals.
The plated ground mount kit allows you to install the clothesline on a concrete slab area.
This one has a plate on each end of the mounting frame's legs which has provisions for bolts/fasteners.
If you need help with clothesline installation, Lifestyle Clotheslines does have a full installer network Australia-wide.
You can simply check the box on the product pages to add it to your order or you can give us a call and we can help you with it over the phone.
