2.9m Wide Clothesline
Our topic this time is all about 2.9m wide clotheslines and which clothesline models will work best in that amount of space.
Let us walk you through our recommendations, the colour options, accessories, mounting options, as well as installation service that we have available in your area.
2.9m wide clotheslines are not that common but it is a good thing that we can customise some of our clotheslines down to that specific width.
Most clotheslines are pre-built to have a width of at least 3 metres at the minimum so if you specifically need a 2.9m wide clothesline for a tight space then you have come to the right place!
Topics for Discussion
Why Choose the Eco 300?
The Eco 300 starts off as a standard 3m wide clothesline but as it is a made to order unit, we can make it to any size you want around that 2.9 metres so this is a clear winner in terms of flexibility.
If you want a width that is more precise like 2.92 or 2.95, it can be done at no extra cost to the customer which is a plus, not every clothesline store/manufacturer offers this kind of service.
The Eco 300 comes in a number of depth options which are listed below:
0.64m
0.75m
0.9m
1.2m
1.5m
Please remember that since the width of your clothesline is pretty much restricted, the only way to gain more line space is by getting an Eco 300 with a longer depth.
A little something to keep in mind, Eco clotheslines are Australian-made units using Australian steel.
They sport full galvanised steel construction which says a lot about reliability and its ability to handle very heavy items.
Eco Dual Frame: Variable Capacity Fold-down Clothesline
The Eco Dual Frame is another clothesline around that 2.9m wide.
It does have a standard width to 3 metres but just like the rest of the Eco lineup we can shorten the width to just 2.9m so as to perfectly fit the space where you need it to be.
This has a split frame so both frames can be deployed independent of each other.
If you just have a small wash, you could put the smaller frame up then if you had a bigger wash, you can put both of the sections of the frame up.
Eco Clotheslines Colour Range
With the Eco clotheslines range, you get 6 standard COLORBOND colours.
These pretty much cover the spectrum of the most popular colors that we see today in modern clothesline colours.
If you do need any colour options outside of these, please let us know as we may be able to help you.
Eco clotheslines are designed and built to be used in Australian climate unlike the cheaper ones that are being imported into the market.
The full steel construction and lack of plastic load-bearing parts shows how these units are destined to last a lifetime.
The size customisation and colour options too are added bonuses compared to competing brands.
Sturdy and stylish, the Eco hits the mark if you want a clothesline that will provide you with years of fuss-free service.
Ground Mount Kits
The most common mounting method for fold-downs is on the wall, either a brick or a masonry surface like a concrete wall.
If you don't have a suitable vertical surface, you can also opt for a ground mount kit.
So if you have a flat concrete slab area, the clothesline has plated legs that can be bolted down on top of the concrete slab for mounting.
The standard ground mount is anchored into the soil/grass area by means of concrete footing for added stability.
