2.7m Wide Clothesline

When it comes to 2.7m wide clotheslines there's only one really on the market that fits that space. 

The Eco 270 is one that is 2.7 metres wide, comes in a range of depth sizes that we'll discuss in a moment, and  the really good thing is it comes in a range of colours!

The Eco 270 is an Australia-made unit full steel construction and one that we highly recommend for this 2.7 metre wide spacing.

After the break you will see the full steel construction, notably the nice and sturdy solid brackets against the wall. All the side arms and struts that hold that clothesline up are all steel.

The only real plastic component is the cord on it itself, and this is high quality polycord in contrast to the overseas clotheslines that come in with a lot of cheap components in them. 

When you don't need the clothesline, you can simply fold it down flat to the wall, and this is shown in the folded down position, and then if you wanted to use it, you simply grab it in the middle, lift it up and the arms lock it in position ready for use.

A Closer Look at the Eco 270:

We have five depth options for the Eco 270 (distance from the wall):

• 0.6m

• 0.75m

• 0.9m

• 1.2m

• 1.5m

Depending on the area you've got to work with, you can generally find a 2.7m wide clothesline that is going to allow you to maximise your line spacing and give you the most usable line space in that area.

There is an optional accessory compatible with all Eco clothesline models which will provide you with more drying line space without consuming additional space, it is the Eco Lowline Attachment.

The Eco Lowline Attachment is a lower section towards the back of the clothesline that will give you three extra drying lines with the same width as your clothesline.

This is a really handy optional extra you can add to the clothesline if you were looking to maximize your line space in any given area. It attaches to the mainframe and simply folds up and down when the mainframe goes up and down. 

If you didn't need it on any given day, you can simply unhook it from the mainframe and it folds flat to the wall. 

 So this might be worth considering if you're really looking to maximize your line space in the area of 2.7 metres wide.

The colour options for the Eco Clotheslines is impressive, with 6 colours as their standard COLORBOND® range, you will be hard-pressed to find a colour that won't match your home.
