Eco Apartment
For starters, everyone in our team agreed that the Eco Apartment clothesline is the perfect go-to if you are looking for a laundry drying solution for 110cm wide spacing.
The Eco Apartment is 100cm wide by 150cm out from the wall and comes with 12 lines. This unit has a design where the lines come out from the wall directly.
Most clotheslines are designed with drying lines that run parallel to the wall, but with this one, the lines actually spread out from the wall so despite its narrow profile, the clearance at the front of the clothesline is key.
Eco 120: Versatile & Space-Friendly
Another option when it comes to 110cm wide clotheslines is the Eco 120.
This model actually has a standard width of 120cm but we can size it down to 110cm if need be to ensure that it will fit perfectly within your designated laundry area.
The Eco 120 comes in a number of depth options which is the distance out from the wall:
60
75
90
120
150
So as long as you have enough clearance at the front of the unit, you can opt for the longest possible depth for maximum advantage.
This is a really good thing if the wall is just the issue but you’ve got tons of space for the main frame when lifted up.
If you opt for the Eco 120 with a depth of 150cm, you can comfortable hang a ton of laundry without sacrificing drying performance.
Eco Lowline Attachment
With the Eco range of clotheslines, you can also add what's called an optional Eco Lowline attachment.
This further increases the capacity of your Eco clothesline.
The Eco Lowline attachment is installed at the back of the clothesline—right under the main frame.
This gives you three additional drying lines that has the same width as the main unit itself—a nifty way to add drying line space without sacrificing more useful floor area!
Ground Mount Kit
You may be unaware of this but the Eco range of clotheslines are not limited to just wall-mounted configuration, they can easily be converted to freestanding units.
If you don’t have a suitable wall surface to install the unit on, it is a good idea to opt for a freestanding kit for the ultimate flexibility in terms of installation.
We have a standard ground-mount kit to facilitate installation in a grass or soil area which will require some digging as well as concrete footings for a solid clothes drying experience.
Another option is the plated ground mount kit, this one comes equipped with plates at the end of each ‘leg’ with provisions for bolts/fasteners for installation on a flat concrete slab.
Eco Clotheslines Colour Range
The Eco clothesline range boasts 6 standard Colorbond colours.
Colorbond is a powder paint material that gives the Eco clotheslines a baked-on, enamel-like finish that further extends the life of the galvanised steel frame.
These colours generally cover the most popular clothesline colours that we see for 110cm wide clotheslines.
If you do have colour requirements outside of these 6 colours, please let us know as we do have access to other Colorbond colour ranges.
Our recommendation for 110cm wide clotheslines is the Eco Clotheslines range.
They are handmade in Australia the old-fashioned way. They have full galvanised-steel (Galvabond) construction and are engineered to last a very, very long time.
They're designed in Australia, manufactured in Australia, and are meant to survive the harsh Australian conditions.
If you need minor customisations to maximise your line space within the area you've got to work with, that can be done in the factory at no extra charge to you.
