Shipping & Delivery
Lifestyle Clotheslines can ship to most locations in mainland Australia, however there are some restrictions on the locations of Remote Tasmania, Remote WA, Far North QLD and the NT with delivery to these areas not possible. Outlying islands off the mainland of Australia and some rural areas may incur additional charges or shipping to these areas may not be possible at all. Note that there are restrictions on some products.
Our free shipping offer (if applicable at time of ordering) delivers to most areas around Australia however for some regional areas we are unfortunately unable to offer free shipping and may be in touch to arrange payment for additional shipping costs. Those in these areas can also find that transport companies may not deliver directly to your door and you could be required to collect your order from their closest depot. A request to the transport company for delivery to your door may incur charges.
When you place an order, we will estimate delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and as a general rule we make every effort to have most orders delivered within 2-9 working days from date of order depending on your location within Australia and the product purchased.
Please keep in mind some products are of a 'Made to Order' nature and may take a little longer. Rural and regional areas can take longer, up to approx. 12 - 19 working days.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I install the clothesline in the ground instead of on the wall?
Yes, the Eco 280 316 Stainless Steel may be mounted on freestanding posts, known as the Standard Ground Mount Kit. There is also a Plated Ground Mount Kit option available for mounting to flat concrete slab areas which is a post with a plate welded onto the bottom.
Can I install a fold down clothesline on a wall other than brick?
Yes, you can but you will just need to make sure the mounting brackets align with the structural supports in the wall. If not you may be able to customise the width of the clothesline (see above) to suit the supports.
Can I install a fold down clothesline on a fence?
Yes, this is very similar to mounting on a non-brick wall, the mounting brackets would need to align with the fence posts and they would have to be nice and solid. You will also need to check council regulations in your area to see if this is allowed.
What is the best height for installing a fold down clothesline?
A general rule of thumb is to install the top bolt of the fixing bracket at approx. 50mm above the users head height. An average height is approx. 1800mm but you can adjust this to suit your requirements.
Are the Eco 316 Stainless Steel clotheslines good quality?
Yes, in fact they are now backed by a 10 year warranty. The complete frame is constructed from 316 marine grade stainless steel.
