Shipping & Delivery
Lifestyle Clotheslines can ship to most locations in mainland Australia, however there are some restrictions on the locations of Remote Tasmania, Remote WA, Far North QLD and the NT with delivery to these areas not possible. Outlying islands off the mainland of Australia and some rural areas may incur additional charges or shipping to these areas may not be possible at all. Note that there are restrictions on some products.
Our free shipping offer (if applicable at time of ordering) delivers to most areas around Australia however for some regional areas we are unfortunately unable to offer free shipping and may be in touch to arrange payment for additional shipping costs. Those in these areas can also find that transport companies may not deliver directly to your door and you could be required to collect your order from their closest depot. A request to the transport company for delivery to your door may incur charges.
When you place an order, we will estimate delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and as a general rule we make every effort to have most orders delivered within 2-9 working days from date of order depending on your location within Australia and the product purchased.
Please keep in mind some products are of a 'Made to Order' nature and may take a little longer. Rural and regional areas can take longer, up to approx. 12 - 19 working days.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I get the Addaline 35 as a Wall Mounted clothesline?
Yes, in fact the intial price displayed above is for the wall mount version, this is standard for of any of the Fold Down type clotheslines. To have it ground mounted like in the first image above you will need to add the Ground Mount Kit option to your order, this option is located on the right below the price displayed above.
What does ‘Standard’ Ground Mount Kit mean?
This is the type of post kit that you will need if you are installing the posts into a grass/soil area in the back yard. It is 2 x Posts(approx. 2370mm long) and 1 x Rear Spreader Bar. This is the most common type of post kit and if you scroll through the images above you will see what the Standard Kit looks like.
What does ‘Plated’ Ground Mount Kit mean?
A Plated Kit allows you to bolt the posts down onto an existing concrete area rather than core drilling or jack hammering holes into the concrete. The posts have metal plates welded on the bottom with holes for dyna-bolting down onto the concrete. It is 2 x Posts(approx. 1865mm long) and 1 x Rear Spreader Bar. If you scroll through the images above you will see what the Plated Kit looks like.
Is it possible to install the Addaline 35 on a wall other than brick?
Yes you can but you will just need to make sure the mounting brackets align with the timber studs in the wall. If not you may be able to customise the width of the clothesline(see 1st question above) to suit the studs. The alternative is to purchase the optional Ground Mount Kit with the clothesline and install it freestanding in front of the wall.
What is the best height for installing the Addaline 35 clothesline?
A general rule of thumb is to install the top bolt of the fixing bracket at approx. 50mm above the users head height. An average height is approx. 1.8m(1800mm) but you can adjust this to suit your requirements, just keep in mind the Addaline 35 has a depth of 1.5m(1500mm) so the height has to be anything over this so that when it is folded down the frame won't hit the ground.
