The Austral Deluxe 5 Rotary is one of Austral's new permanent fixed clotheslines on the market today. The Austral Deluxe series features strong galvanised steel tubing, a plastic gear case and galvanised clothesline wire, each of which are designed to handle the harsh Australian climate.

The Deluxe 5 comes complete with 50m of line space and a head diameter of 5m with a breeze brake for one position pegging (perfect for windy days) and effortless winding to hoist up into the breeze for drying.

What is the clothesline made of? It features galvanised steel tubing and a plastic gear case. What is the line made of? This is also galvanised steel wire for superior strength and durability. Can I install this clothesline myself? Yes, if you are reasonably handy then you can do this yourself. All models come with complete instructions to do the job successfully. If you are unsure we do offer an installation service in most capital cities around Australia. How much space do I need to have so it will fit in my backyard without interfering with anything when it is rotating in the breeze? It is best to allow an extra 1 metre to the diameter of the clotheslines for free rotation. You will find the Head Diameter and Area Required under the ‘Dimensions’ tab on each product page. Can the Fixed Head rotary clothesline be removed from the ground? No, this type of clothesline is permanently cemented into the ground. If the diameter of the clothesline is a bit big for the area I have, can I reduce it? Yes, this is very easy to do. Remove the caps on the ends of the arms and trim down with a hacksaw, replace the caps. You may lose the outer line when doing this though. Does this model come with any warranty? Yes, all Fixed Head Rotary clotheslines come with a 10 year structural warranty. Please refer to the paperwork that you will receive with your clothesline.

When you place an order, we will estimate delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and as a general rule we make every effort to have most orders delivered within 2 - 9 working days from date of order depending on your location within Australia and the product purchased.

Please keep in mind some products are of a 'Made to Order' nature and may take a little longer. Rural and regional areas can take longer, up to approx. 12 - 19 working days.

Installation

If you have ordered installation or want to have your new clothesline installed by one of our professional installers, please see the steps below which outline the order/installation process.

Step 1. Place your order online or over the phone by calling 1300 798 779

Step 2. Your order will be processed within 24 hours (Mon - Fri) and the details of your order are then sent to the warehouse and the appropriate installer.

Step 3. Depending on the product you have chosen and your location the clothesline will either be picked up from the warehouse or sent by courier to the installer.

Step 4. Once the clothesline installer has the clothesline and he is ready to do your installation, he will call you directly on the phone number provided to arrange the installation day with you. Please make sure you provide the most contactable phone number/s. The installer will bring the clothesline with him on the day of installation.

Step 5. This process generally takes approx. 1 - 3 weeks depending on seasonal demand.

Easy to install, except for the wire, that's gets a bit tricky at times, but with out in the end, no more lines sagging in the heat
