Traditional Ceiling Airer
The Traditional Ceiling Airer is a compact and brilliant indoor laundry drying system that dates back to Victorian times and was an indoor airer used in most homes, either in the kitchen or for drying clothes.
Once installed to your ceiling, it’s simply a matter of loading up your airer with a full load of washing and hoisting it up to the ceiling where the warm air of your home will naturally dry your clothes free of charge overnight or throughout the day.
Available in a range of lengths and with all cast iron parts in a range colours to suit any home or décor, these airers are built tough and strong to last a lifetime.

This is fantastic, didnt even break when I didnt tie a decent knot and it fell from the ceiling! Clothes dry well and its easy to use and keep out of the way
Very happy with this! Every laundry should have one!
We had one of these years ago and loved it. We live on a farm in a very windy area and I thought having one of these in our garage would be perfect for the windy and winter days so I can get my washing dry. I just love it and it looks great too...
The traditional ceiling airer arrived very quickly. The airer is great. We have a 10 foot stud so it is ideal. I would recommend buying one. We won't need to use our clothes dryer
Just had another ceiling airer delivered and installed in my pergola which is is enclosed with screens and even on a winters day I can dry my clothes with a bit of sunshine.I have one in the laundry too. The cream colour in the pergola blends in well with my wooden beams. I wish I'd ordered an extra pulley wheel though so the ropes would lie better against the wall. No drying problems now though.
