For the 160cm size spacing, the Eco 180 is one of the products we recommend, do take into account that the 160cm width is not a standard size that is offered by clothesline manufacturers.
We can shrink the Eco 180’s width to exactly 160cm for you or any other width for that matter if the situation calls for it.
So if you have 165 or 160cm to work with, we can actually make the Eco 180 clothesline to exactly those specifications in the factory for you so when it comes out, it's all ready to go, exactly the size that you need.

Eco 180
With the Eco 180, you can get a number of different depth sizes. This is the distance out from the wall.
It is fully constructed out of Australian galvanised steel and is really built to last a lifetime and to keep reliability issues at bay.
The only plastic component in this clothesline is the plastic cord itself. Everything else is full steel construction.

With the Eco 180 clothesline, you have five different depth options:
60cm
75cm
90cm
120cm
150cm
Obviously, the further out from the wall you come, the more lines you're gonna get and this allows you to really maximise your line spacing in a very small area.
With the Eco Clotheslines range, you can also add an optional Eco Lowline attachment.
This is another section that attaches to the back of the clothesline on a slightly lower level and this gives you three additional drying lines.
So if you're really trying to maximise your line space in the 160cm area, this is a handy thing to consider since it gives you more drying space without requiring additional footprint.
It attaches to the main frame so it goes up and down with the clothesline, a really handy and convenient feature for those jam-packed laundry days!
But if you don’t need it on any given day, it simply unhooks from the main frame and folds flat to the wall —out of the way so you can hang longer articles when need be.
Eco Clotheslines Colour Range
With the Eco Clothesline range, you get 6 standard COLORBOND® colours, these colours pretty much span the most popular colours that we see today in clotheslines.
If you do have colour requirements outside of these 6 colours, please let us know as we may be able to help with other COLORBOND® colour access.
Our recommendation for 160cm wide clotheslines is the Eco Clotheslines range.
They are handmade in Australia the old-fashioned way and with a full steel construction, they are built to last a very long time.
Eco clotheslines are designed in Australia, made in Australia, and are really built to withstand the harsh conditions that we see in Australia for many times throughout the year.
The big range of modern colours is also a top selling point for these clotheslines.
So you can pretty much find the exact colour that you're after to fit with your colour scheme or your home’s aesthetics, and should you do need any customisations, that's all done free of charge in the factory.
With the mounting of the clotheslines, the standard mounting is a wall mount clothesline to a brick or masonry wall.
If you don't have a suitable wall surface, you can also convert these clotheslines into freestanding units.
First off, there’s the standard ground mount kit which requires digging a couple of holes to accommodate concrete footings into a soil and grass area.
If you have a flat concrete slab area, you can get what's called a plated ground mount kit.
That's basically a post with a plate welded around the bottom and that bolts down flat to your concrete slab area and then the clothesline mounts to this frame.
