Shipping & Delivery
Lifestyle Clotheslines can ship to most locations in mainland Australia, however there are some restrictions on the locations of Remote Tasmania, Remote WA, Far North QLD and the NT with delivery to these areas not possible. Outlying islands off the mainland of Australia and some rural areas may incur additional charges or shipping to these areas may not be possible at all. Note that there are restrictions on some products.
Our free shipping offer (if applicable at time of ordering) delivers to most areas around Australia however for some regional areas we are unfortunately unable to offer free shipping and may be in touch to arrange payment for additional shipping costs. Those in these areas can also find that transport companies may not deliver directly to your door and you could be required to collect your order from their closest depot. A request to the transport company for delivery to your door may incur charges.
When you place an order, we will estimate delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and as a general rule we make every effort to have most orders delivered within 2-9 working days from date of order depending on your location within Australia and the product purchased.
Please keep in mind some products are of a 'Made to Order' nature and may take a little longer. Rural and regional areas can take longer, up to approx. 12 - 19 working days.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I Install The Airer On A Sloping Ceiling?
Yes you can. Our clothes airers are perfect for sloping ceilings. The airer must be kept level for correct operation so it simply means that the rope from one end of the airer to the ceiling pulley is longer than the other end, therefore holding the airer level. The only thing you need to consider it that the airer can only be pulled as high as the lowest point on your sloping roof. If this is high enough, so as to allow the airer to be pulled up out of the way, then it won't be a problem. Also the pulley MUST be fitted into the sloping ceiling at an angle to the slope as in the photo shown. The pulleys must always be vertical to the floor, just as they would be if the ceiling was a flat ceiling. This means the pulley will look like the photo to the left when fitted on a sloping ceiling. A ceiling can slope in all sorts of directions and our airers will work with any of them.
Can This Be Installed Outdoors?
Yes, this clothesline can be installed outdoors as well as indoors.
What Type of Ceiling Can This Airer Be Installed On?
The pulleys can be installed under any ceiling as long as they are directly screwed into a structural beam/stud that can hold the weight of the airer as well as the wet laundry being dried. You’ll find that a ceiling with exposed beams will work in your favour, we recommend using a stud finder to make the installation process easier.
Can I Install the Cleat on a Drywall?
Please bear in mind that the cleat will bear the weight of the whole airer and the items being dried therefore it should be screwed into a structural beam/stud to ensure safe and proper operation of your ceiling mounted clothes airer. We recommend using a stud finder to make the installation of the cleat easier.
Will This Work Under High Ceilings?
Yes but you might want to get in touch with us for assistance regarding additional cord packs since the stock cord length included in the box might not be enough.
