Our order arrived quickly and we managed to put it up ourselves. The instructions weren’t super clear but better than IKEA! Once up it is working a treat. Easy to adjust height and lots of hanging space for our needs.
The woodland grey looks good. I additionally bought the attachment for the basket and after some initial reluctance my wife is now liking it. Delivery was on time and left on back deck as requested.
Hi Kieran, thank you for your review and we are happy that you like your new clothesline.
Our tree fell and broke our very dear neighbours clothes line. Such a relief to be able to replace it for her with the exact same model that got crunched up! Neighbourly friendship maintained and clothes drying restored to normal. All good!
Hi SR, thank you for your review and we are glad that the clothesline work perfectly fine on the area.
The clothesline is very good in operation and fulfills its function while looking stylish. The Woodland Grey is a great colour. The installation instructions could be clearer however, particularly with regard to the height setting on the locking pin. I set it for my height, 187cm, or the middle position. It's way too high for my wife. What one needs to take into consideration of course is that it can be wound up considerably higher than the suggested height settings for installation so tall people aren't injured. It's something of a problem in our household where I am tall and my wife is short. Also, it's difficult to get the levelling right using the mast in its socket, because it's not a tight fit and the mast will move several millimetres when you place a spirit level against it. I have purchased a second socket (they are not cheap, by the way, so it's MUCH better to get it right the first time) and I'm not looking forward to trying to get the clothesline level with the head attached. Hopefully it will be less windy than the day I installed the first socket with bare mast. As another small point, some of the black plastic mouldings show imperfections on my line, but that doesn't affect operation at all. It's a huge improvement over the wall-mounted unit we've been using for some years, a unit which replaced a similar Hills unit which I destroyed by trying to hang a wet blanket on it. That clothesline was a horrid green. Wall-mounted units are problematical for households where users vary greatly in height.
Hi MIke, thank you for your review and you loved your new clothesline.
