The Perfect Courtyard or Balcony Clothes Line
If you live in a unit or townhouse and want a clothes line to dry your washing, but dont have the space for a normal sized wall mounted unit, the Hills Supa Fold Compact clothes line is here to help!
The Supa Fold Compact folding frame line is a smaller, single folding frame designed especially for tight access areas in flats, units and townhouses throughtout Australia. Nicely finished in Pebble Beach powdercoat colour.
The Compact can be installed using a ground mounting kit(for free standing option) or it can also be easily installed onto a standard brick wall. If you have a longer, narrower wall situation you may also want to consider the Hills Supa Fold Long Line as an alternative solution.
This line can be installed both indoors or outdoors and is a handy clothes line to have installed in the garage for winter drying or an alternative drying option on wet days. You can also find our more about installing this product by going here.
If the width of this clothesline does not suit the space you have, watch this video to show how it can be customised - Width Modification
With Hills being the leader in drying and laundry products in Australia, they also make a range of high quality ironing boards, a very clever range of smart pegs and a new, just released Panier Laundry Trolley to name just a few items.
Installation Note: A core hole is only required when installing into existing concrete, e.g. a concrete pathway or paved area. Not required in the ground(grass/soil)

"It was delivered really quickly, which I was really happy with"
I bought this Hills clothesline from Lifestyle Clotheslines. It's really easy to install and easy to use. I'm really enjoying that I can now hang my clothes outside instead of inside.

"It fits in very comfortably down the side of the house"
It was delivered, no trouble at all. My husband was able to install it; it was very easy to install. You can see that it takes up very little room, and yet, can hold a full family-size wash.

"Lifestyle are the best dealer by far. The service is great. They delivered on time."
I needed a small clothesline to hang out spear fishing gear and wet suits in the backyard. It was free delivery, as cheap as I could find anywhere on the net. I've got a great clothesline!

Easy to install and instructions are methodical. Line fits perfectly alongside house in a covered narrow area. Would recommend this Hills product if you are tight for outside space.

This is a great solution for an area with limited space and access. We have only one place to put our clothesline and this fits the bill perfectly.

Description on the website was exact and the clothes line does exactly what it supposed to do and fits neatly into the space in the garage.

I have put mine in the garage. I was sceptical about this product but since purchasing it - I would definately recommend this. The lines are very spacious and can definately fit the sheets on this. It is sturdy, looks good, and does the job! What more could I ask for.

Perfect for my Unit courtyard. My best purchase in a long time. Simple to operate - folds away easily. Looks great. Love the colour. Very quick delivery and installation. Good value.
Yes, this is very easy to do, just trim down the front bar before assembly to reduce the width. You will find more information about this in the instruction manual.
Yes you can but you will just need to make sure the mounting brackets align with the structural supports in the wall. If not you may be able to customise the width of the clothesline(see above) to suit the supports. Another solution would be to purchase a Ground Mount Kit(if available) with the clothesline and install it freestanding in front of the wall.
Yes, this is very similar to mounting on a non-brick wall, the mounting brackets would need to align with the fence posts and they would have to be nice and solid. You will also need to check council regulations in your area to see if this is allowed. A freestanding Ground Mount Kit is an alternative once again.
A general rule of thumb is to install the top bolt of the fixing bracket at approx. 50mm above the users head height. An average height is approx. 1800mm but you can adjust this to suit your requirements.
